Walk the Test Way for Enham

Calling all walkers: we are recruiting for Team Enham to take part in Walk the Test Way on Sunday 10 October 2010. This is a walk for the whole family, as entrants can choose from a range of distances, starting at 2.5 miles right through to a challenging 26 miles.

This is our second year joining forces with the Rotary Club of Romsey Test on this established event. Last year's Team Enham raised over £600 for us. Let's see what we can do to beat that in 2010.

Registration costs just £5 (payable in advance), and then 25 percent of your sponsorship money will go to Rotary supported charities and the rest to Enham.

"To give you an idea, raising just £90 in sponsorship would help finance seven weeks of drama classes for a client to develop self-confidence and communication skills, or pay for work placement and transport for three clients at a local garden centre." Liz Cosgrove, Events and Community Fundraiser

The route will be fully marshalled and signed at key points – safety is paramount. Prior to the walk, participants will be given a time to register at Crosfield Hall, Romsey where free transport will take you to your chosen start point.
