Enham wins the Paint for Change Competition
18 September 2009
They came, they saw, they painted!
Volunteer painters from the local area, plus some of our Entry to Employment clients and a wealth of other helpers, all came along to meet the Dulux team at Enham Alamein on Thursday 17 September to help paint the exterior of the Shoosmith Centre.
Having won a competition in the UK’s most popular tabloid newspaper, The Sun, the Dulux team came along with their 'Paint for Change’ double decker bus plus the Dulux dog, to undertake a makeover of the Shoosmith centre, which is used for client and community activities on the site of Enham Alamein.
Enham's Community Fundraiser, Liz Cosgrove, who nominated Enham for the refurb, said: "The day went really well. The building definitely needed sprucing up and is now a much more appealing shade and looks much better'.
