Charity Shop and Cafe

The shop and café is a thriving business in the heart of Enham Alamein. It is a real community hub, with a friendly and welcoming environment to visit, work in or volunteer for.

The Shop

The shop is a real treasure trove and you can find something for everyone: books, clothing, glassware, accessories, toys and more. All the items have been donated and everyone who works there is overwhelmed by the generosity of its supporters.

The shop has a number of volunteers from our Route to Independence programme. It is valuable experience for clients wanting to look at work experience or employment in the future.

The Café

The Café offers freshly made cakes, sandwiches and more. It has become a popular destination for catching up for a coffee, cake and a chat.

Employment opportunities at the Cafe

As a Café Assistant, you would be trained and gain experience in:

• food preparation
• food hygiene
• customer service
• cash handling
• stock taking

The job requires attention to detail, working under pressure and a real customer focus.
