Enham's Journey to Work programme supports into work young people with barriers or health issues.  Through a dedicated programme solely for the 16-25 age group, help is provided into learning, training, work placements or paid employment.

Key Benefits of Journey to Work:

The service is free, and provides one to one support with an employment adviser in your local area. Help will be provided with:

  • C.V. Writing
  • Job Applications
  • Interview Skills
  • Time Management

Access is provided to training and learning opportunities in your local area. 

Once you begin full time or part time paid employment, we will support you for a further 13 weeks.  During that time a mentor will be provided to you to ensure that the support continues even when you have left the programme.

Eligibility:

To be eligible you will be:

  • 16-25 years of age
  • Live in Dorset or Somerset
  • Be unemployed
  • Have barriers that have prevented you taking up access to; Full-time or Part-time paid work, Voluntary work, Work Placements, Training or Learning
  • Have officially left education
