ACE Programme
ACE - building practical skills for young people aged between 14-16
The ACE programme is activity based and aims to help 14-16 year olds improve some of the practical skills required to move on to work, college or training after leaving school.
Enham supports these young people in the area of:
- Gardening/Horticulture
Students create a portfolio of their work whilst on the ACE programme, this evidence is used to gain a range of awards.
Courses are held on a weekly basis, outside of school, and with a mixture of students from different schools.
Key Benefits of ACE
- Help can be provided in areas students are finding difficult at school
- Students have regular contact with a youth learning coordinator and together they agree short and long-term goals to improve their skills
- Students choose their own activities
- Students work towards a range of national awards
Eligibility
- You must be aged between 14-16 and go to school in Andover or District
