Leaving a Gift in Memory
Why?
Many people are now choosing to leave a gift which will leave a lasting tribute to their loved ones, rather than floral tributes and other things that don’t provide an enduring commemoration or celebration of their loved ones' lives.
At Enham we open a dedicated Memorial Fund so that the family and friends can see this tribute fund as a positive, fulfilling and inspiring focus for their thoughts and memories.
Sometimes family and friends like to add to the fund at notable times like birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas etc. It is a very individual and personal choice but Enham is always happy to help with whatever you feel most appropriate to you.
Sometimes people have even used it more positively, raising money for the fund with parties, by running a marathon and even on one occasion by holding a memorial car show to commemorate one of its active organisers.
It is important to know that even leaving a small amount can make a real difference.
Just £50 can provide five two-hour basic skills lessons giving independence to a disabled person. It can also provide 5 one-hour IT development sessions giving access to the early stages of training towards employment.
In this way your tribute helps to improve the quality of life for disabled people.
How?
We will help you with every step that you need to take, starting a Memorial Fund immediately and providing cards to enable everybody to send their tributes to Enham individually. However, sometimes families like to gather the tributes together and send them to Enham themselves or to ask the Funeral Directors to do so for them.
