Modules and Programmes
STEP2Employment is structured around two modules and three programme choices.
Modules
Module 1
Lasting 6 weeks, the focus is on Initial Assessment, Rickter Scale Assessment (a distance travelled tool), C.V. building, interview techniques, STEPS (a programme which enables you to take a fresh look at your life) and introduces you to your preferred vocational area.
Module 2
Module 2 builds on your skills to provide the tools you require to enter and sustain Employment. This may include Unit accreditation in your chosen vocational area depending on employment opportunities.
Programmes
Computer Aided Design (CAD)
An intensive course that provides learning at the cutting edge of design technology. Our training in 2D, 3D and Advanced Computer Aided Design should open the door to many employment opportunities and some of our clients have since gone on to posts at the MOD involving Aircraft Design, at Architectural and Surveyor practices, City Councils and even working for Formula 1, to name a few. Training is delivered using City & Guilds qualifications in AutoCAD.
IT Installation, Upgrade & Maintenance
A comprehensive course designed to help people find work in the area of IT Support. The programme takes clients from the basics through to more complex areas of computer maintenance.
Horticulture
People entering this long standing, work-based programme are given the opportunity to work on a commercial Nursery and maintain the extensive grounds of Enham Alamein. Many have progressed into employment in a variety of roles within the land-based sector.
