NDDP - New Deal for Disabled People and Job Broker
Do you have a disability and want to get back into worthwhile employment?
Funded by the government as part of the New Deal for Disabled People (NDDP) scheme, Job Broker is designed to remove these barriers to finding work and help you get back into worthwhile employment. Job Broker can provide the personal and professional support you require, just when you need it. 
Key Benefits of NDDP:
• An Employment Advisor offering a free, friendly, confidential and personal service is assigned to you.
• Practical assistance is given with your job searching including: making applications, CV production, approaching employers and preparation for interviews.
• Appointments are arranged at times and locations convenient to you.
• It gives you advice on relevant employment, training and voluntary work opportunities.
• Help is given with identifying the benefits and ‘in-work’ support available to you to ensure that you are better off in employment.
• Up to £200, to help support you in the first 13 weeks in work is available.
Eligibility:
Residents of Hampshire, Dorset and Berkshire and who are receiving one or more of the following:
• Disability Living Allowance, provided the recipient is not in receipt of JSA (Jobseekers Allowance) & is not in paid work of 16 hours or more per week.
• Incapacity Benefit
• Severe Disability Allowance
• Income Support with Disability Premium
• Incapacity Benefit credits only
• Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit with an Unemployability Supplement
• Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit with a Disability Premium
• Income Support pending an appeal against Incapacity Benefit disallowance
• War Pension with an Unemployability Supplement
• National Insurance Credit
