Part-time Personal Assistants

Providing support to a disabled woman living in the Swindon area 

Main Duties:

• To provide practical support in managing day to day household tasks e.g. cleaning, laundry, assist with cooking meals and to drive the carer to local shops.
• To provide occasionally a sitting service to her father of poor health.

Applicants must show a mature, friendly, professional attitude and be honest and trustworthy.

Required skills:

•  The ideal applicant should have experience in a supportive role,
•  Applicants have to be patient, calm, reliable and trustworthy.
•  Good knowledge and understanding of the Islamic religion and the associated way of
    life is necessary
•  To assist cooking healthy, nutritious meals and to teach new cooking – knowledge of
    Muslim Cuisine/Islamic Cuisine important
•  Knowledge of the local Islamic community is an advantage
•  Driving license and car owner an advantage

Applicants are required to have an enhanced CRB check – the cost will be met by the employer.

Working hours:

4.5 hours a week, Wednesday from 10:00 – 14:30

Rates of pay:

£7.50 per hour
