Piece of cake
What could be nicer than whipping up a home made sponge, putting the kettle on and inviting friends over for a few hours to raise money for charity?
Whether you bake a cake yourself, or nip into the supermarket on the way into work, we'll be delighted to receive your support.
Simply buy or bake a cake, (there's a simple recipe on our leaflet) portion it up and invite your friends to buy a slice. It's a great excuse to get together or to meet new people in your area.
Where could I hold an event?
- at work and fundraise in your tea break, everyone likes a slice of cake in the afternoon
- toddler group
- WI
- rotary club
- church
- your line dancing club or art class
- and many more
What do I need to do next?
Simply download the leaflet and poster.
Then make sure you email or call your friends to let everyone know your plans. If you are doing this in your village hall for instance, and want to extend the invitation to everyone in your village, fill in the date, time and place on the poster (we can let you have more if you need them), and get the kettle on!
