Walk the Test Way
Are you free on Sunday 14 October?
How do you fancy gathering your friends and family together before winter sets in and having a stroll along the beautiful Test Way to Romsey while you raise money for Enham at the same time? Last year walkers raised nearly £1,825 for us and we would love to increase that in 2012
More about the event
Organised by the Rotary club of Romsey Test, Walk the Test Way, it's a lovely day with various distances to choose from, all fully marshalled and patrolled.
There is a choice of 6 starts all finishing in the Memorial park in Romsey, giving a choice of distances available. Starting with a family stroll of 2 miles and working your way up to a Marathon of 25.2 miles via options of 16 miles, 12 miles, 8 miles and 5 miles so there really is something for everyone.
"We walked with a crowd from work, it was such a laugh"
How to enter
If you would like to join us, please register your interest on http://www.walkthetestway.org.uk/ and nominate Enham as your "other selected charity".
It's just £5 to register. Don't forget to tick the bit that says they can pass your name to Enham or we won't know who to thank!
It's a sponsored walk and 75% of the money you raise comes to Enham. If you raise just £200 it could help one of our clients to make such a difference to their lives. Read Shaun's story which is attached, it lets you know just how much your donations will help.
If you need any further information, please register now or forward a link to this web page and poster to anyone you think might like to join us.
I'll be there to meet you at the end and there will also be a lady or two to massage your sore feet too - What more could you want!
